Please, know, that i am not giving advises, only writing inspiring, yet angry comment here, ok?

Nice experiment. Concept is pure gem, and it has pretty dope mechanic too, actualy!
But i left with great sense of unsatisfaction, because as a player i have just lost all of my efforts and was needed to build those sand castles all over again just to loose it all one more time. When i played for a third round i was not interested in making something fun anymore. Have typed "asdasd" as a name and gave it a go with two dots as a picture.

It could be a great game if you decide to invest your time and skills into it. Your narrative is honest and unique, concept is working great. But this frustration is just over the top.
I really belive it is great find and it could be financialy sucessful also.

Some mechanics that come to mind after playing:
*your cards have let`s say 10 to 50 health. Enemies - 10 to 20. And your card desappear only if its hp = 0. Every fight it recovers 5%.
*Monsters has protection against particular letters.
*Hall of fame for personal and global cards. Let`s say famous = went through biggest number of battles.
* Giving some random adjectives to cards. "Weak" milk, "Normal" Tom etc. It is cheap, fun and giving some individuality and element of joy into gameplay.
Surely i am not asking for those features in a jam game, but your prototype evoked a lot of emotions in me. I was invested in process and all ears what would you say to me next. It is a great indicator.
Contraversial. Yet freaking awesome.
Please, dont stop.

I appreciate your extremely detailed comment :)

I Won't stop :) I'm already working on the new version, and my first priority is to change the gameplay for now.

I also noticed that after a few rounds, one loses the fun of creating the cards because they lose them almost immediately but I couldn't make a proper gameplay in the given time because I thought I couldn't finish it in time.

I have enough free time now hehe :))

I really liked your Ideas and will think of incorporating them in the new version
I especially liked the "Hall of Fame" and "Random Card adjectives"(maybe random themes instead but I will need to test a lot of things to know that) Ideas.

Thanks really you're a lot of help :)

I will try holding a devlog here on itch.io too (It will be the first time I'm doing that so I'm quite excited) hehe
